Cyberpunk 2077’s Edgerunners 2 update adds two new quests, handgun dual wielding and the ability to pimp your mantis blades

Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5 arrives on 22 October, following the release of the second Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series. Developed by CD Projekt Red and Virtuos, it adds anime-linked content and gameplay features, extending support for a game that has received updates for years.

The update includes Clampdown, an Edgerunners 2 prequel quest with related gear, and Welcome to Paradise, a separate quest exploring Night City’s history. A new perk lets players dual-wield power pistols or revolvers, while five glamdocs offer 40 alternative appearances for hand cyberware, with colour options. The patch also adds a radio station with music from both anime series and cross-platform modding support.
