Cyberpunk Officially Returns to Netflix With Highly Anticipated New Release

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 began streaming on Netflix on 20 October, with all ten episodes available at once. The standalone series returns to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 with a new cast and a story of revenge and redemption, allowing it to explore Night City without continuing the first season’s characters’ story.

The new characters include Weak, a former edgerunner who has lost the cybernetic enhancements that shaped his life, and D, a netrunner seeking those responsible for destroying his clan. Roman wants to document people’s lives, while Talia has moved from a corporate upbringing into the Maelstrom gang. CD Projekt Red and animation studio Trigger have reunited for the series; a free game update with Edgerunners 2-inspired content is scheduled for 22 October on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release later.
