Dad almost killed by one-punch attack walked daughter down aisle weeks later
Craig Brunt, a Sheffield father who was left temporarily paralysed after a one-punch attack, has reunited with Casey, one of the ambulance crew members who helped save his life. His recovery and reunion highlight the lasting effects of the assault and the work he has since done to raise awareness of brain injuries and support others.

He walked his daughter Sophie down the aisle two months later, but retired at 51 after the attack changed his health and confidence. A man was jailed for three years in 2022 after admitting unlawful wounding.
