Dakota Johnson has confirmed that she appears in Taylor Swift’s upcoming music video for “Patient Zero”. Swift teased the video with a 13-second preview and plans to premiere it at the MTV VMAs, while Johnson described working with her long-time friend as enjoyable and creatively rewarding.
Swift announced the single after revealing “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore”, an expanded edition of last year’s album. The release includes four new tracks — “Patient Zero”, “Cleveland!”, “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon” — and was inspired by Swift’s decision to continue writing songs while celebrating the original album’s success with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback.
