DC Studios’ James Gunn and Peter Safran Recall Detailing Long-Term Plans to New Boss David Ellison
James Gunn and Peter Safran say they have briefed new DC Studios boss David Ellison on their long-term plans and are pleased he has invited them to remain in charge. They see the change in ownership as an opportunity to continue their wider DC Universe story with more resources and a broader reach.
Their upcoming slate includes *Clayface*, *Man of Tomorrow*, *Batman Part II* and *The People v. Gorilla Grodd*, alongside the recently released *Lanterns* season. *Clayface*, the third film in their DC Universe continuity, is a body-horror story about a disfigured Hollywood actor who undergoes an experimental treatment; it reportedly cost about $30 million and is due in cinemas on 23 October.
