Nadine de Klerk hit an unbeaten 41 to guide London Spirit to a five-wicket victory over Trent Rockets in The Hundred Women's Competition at Trent Bridge, sealing Spirit's first win of the season with just three balls remaining. The chase looked in danger after Spirit slumped to 67-4, but a rapid stand between De Klerk and Marie Kelly turned the game back in their favour.

Chasing 143, Spirit lost four wickets for just 12 runs despite a brisk start from opener Grace Harris (37 off 20 balls), before De Klerk and Kelly added 63 from 37 balls to steady the innings. Kelly made 39 off 26 balls after a slow start, and De Klerk finished the job with two sixes in the final four balls. Earlier, Marizanne Kapp's 3-12 with the ball had restricted Rockets to 142-7, with Ash Gardner (34) and Bess Heath (31) the main resistance. Both sides now have one win from two matches, though Rockets sit third on a better net run-rate, while a separate match between Manchester Super Giants and Birmingham Phoenix was abandoned without a ball bowled.
