Dead by Daylight Is Losing Another Horror Icon

Behaviour Interactive will remove the Chucky Chapter from Dead by Daylight on 24 November 2026, ending the character’s availability for new purchases. The move reflects the licensing limits affecting the game’s collaborations with horror franchises, and follows the removal of other familiar characters.

Players can buy the Chucky content until 11 a.m. ET on 24 November. Existing owners will keep access to the DLC and can level up Chucky and obtain his add-ons and perks, but will no longer be able to unlock extra outfits. A half-price sale brings the Chapter to $2.49, running from 26 October on Epic Games Store, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, 2 November on PlayStation, and 10 November on Steam.
