Hulu's The Testaments, the follow-up series to the acclaimed Margaret Atwood adaptation The Handmaid's Tale, has announced additional cast members for its second season. Deborah Ann Woll, known for Daredevil: Born Again, joins as a recurring guest star playing Sylvia, a seamstress with access to Gilead's elite circles, whilst Luke Kirby, famous for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, takes on the guest role of Commander Fletcher, an eccentric recluse. The expansion comes alongside promotions for existing cast members Charlie Carrick, elevated to series regular as Commander Judd, and the addition of Haley Wong as series regular Prudence, a dutiful pregnant wife.

The series, based on Atwood's 2019 Booker Prize-winning novel, follows two teenage girls, Agnes and Daisy, as they navigate Aunt Lydia's preparatory school for future wives in the totalitarian state of Gilead. Season 1 premiered in April, with production on Season 2 beginning in August. The show is created by showrunner Bruce Miller and executive produced by Elisabeth Moss and other key figures from The Handmaid's Tale, with production handled by MGM Television and 20th Television.
