Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle has just launched on streaming via Crunchyroll, over a year after its Japanese cinema debut, prompting fans to ask when the next instalment of the trilogy will arrive. Studio Ufotable confirmed Parts 2 and 3 when the project was first announced in 2024, but has yet to give any update on Part 2's production status or release date, meaning there's no trailer or confirmed window so far.

The first film became the highest-grossing Japanese movie of all time and the top-grossing international release in the US after taking $793.5 million worldwide. Based on the studio's past production pace, which saw the debut film take roughly three and a half years to animate, a 2027 release for Part 2 looks most likely, with an announcement possibly coming at Shueisha's Jump Festa convention in December. The trilogy adapts the manga's Infinity Castle arc, following protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they battle demon leader Muzan Kibutsuji within his shifting, labyrinthine stronghold.
