Denise Welch has said that American folk-pop trio Tiny Habits performed the first dance at the wedding of her son, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, and model and musician Gabbriette Bechtel. Welch made the comments while hosting Tiny Habits’ London listening party and pop-up show on 7 August. She said Healy first found the group on Instagram, then became a fan after Gabbriette took him to see James Taylor, with Tiny Habits supporting; Healy has since collaborated with them on ‘Anything He Was’ and covered Taylor’s ‘Carolina In My Mind’.
