The horror film "Deify" has added seven principal cast members, including Dennis Haysbert and Ashley Greene, joining previously announced stars Neal McDonough and Skeet Ulrich. The indie psychological horror project, from filmmaker brothers Carmelo and Nicholas Chimera, is currently shooting in Chicago and follows a cult leader put on trial after his followers are burned alive, drawing partial inspiration from the 1993 Waco siege.

Haysbert will play the judge presiding over the trial, while Greene takes on the role of a court-appointed psychologist evaluating Ulrich's cult-leader character. Other new additions include Kirk Acevedo, who portrays the real-life "Butcher of Galesburg," alongside Casey Hartnett, Anji White, co-director Nicholas Chimera and producer Mike Manning. The production also features a wider cast including Cliff Chamberlain, Jason Potter and Ritchie Ramone of The Ramones, with Chimera Studios and J2 Productions producing alongside Mannifest Productions.
