Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume, formerly known as Kenny Beats, will release their second joint album, ii, on 21 August through Loma Vista Recordings. The announcement is accompanied by the first single, “DIFFERENCE”, marking a renewed partnership following their 2020 project UNLOCKED and highlighting both artists’ continued activity across collaborative and touring work.

The album was reportedly recorded using only a Roland SP-404 beat machine and a low-cost microphone. It includes guest appearances from Yebba, JPEGMAFIA and Westside Gunn; Yebba appears on “DIFFERENCE”, whose lyrics see Curry reference Lil Wayne and praise Blume. Curry is due to tour with Knocked Loose later this year, while Blume has recently worked with Rico Nasty and other collaborators.
