Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume, formerly known as Kenny Beats, have announced their second collaborative album, ii, due on 21 August through Loma Vista, alongside its lead single “Difference” featuring Yebba. The record reunites the pair six years after Unlocked and signals a return to their rap-focused partnership despite Curry’s recent work in other musical directions.

Curry and Blume reportedly argued during the album’s creation before adopting a stripped-back process using an SP-404 sampler and a cheap microphone. The nine-track album includes guest appearances from JPEGMAFIA and Westside Gunn, while “Difference” is accompanied by a VHS-style split-screen video directed by NOTACHANCE.
