Dermot Mulroney will leave NBC’s ‘Chicago Fire’ early in its forthcoming 15th season, ending his run as Chief Dom Pascal after joining the drama in Season 13. His departure adds to a period of change for the long-running series, following another cast exit and a change of showrunner.
Season 15 begins on 7 October at 9 p.m. ET, after the previous finale left firefighters responding to a warehouse blaze as its roof began to collapse. Mulroney’s exit follows news that original cast member Joe Miñoso, who plays Joe Cruz, will also depart during the season; Victor Teran will replace Andrea Newman as showrunner, while Da’Vinchi joins as a firefighter at Firehouse 51.
