Detective tells court how she found dripping blood and fingerprints in Toyota HiAce that Beau Lamarre-Condon allegedly used after double shootings
A forensic officer told the NSW Supreme Court that a Toyota HiAce allegedly used by Beau Lamarre-Condon to move the bodies of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies was stained with their blood. Police also found Lamarre-Condon’s fingerprints on the van, which was examined four days after the pair were allegedly killed in Paddington in February 2024. The evidence forms part of the case against Lamarre-Condon, who denies murdering both men.
Blood matching the victims’ DNA was found beneath the van and inside its rear, and remnants of a black rubbish bag were found near its number plate. The court also heard that a rented Mazda used to move the men’s belongings contained their blood, while a Cronulla skip bin held bloodied clothing and bedding, bone fragments and other personal items. Lamarre-Condon is additionally accused of breaking into Baird’s share-house in 2023 and stealing his phone and wallet.
- Forensic evidence linked a van to the two victims.
- Their blood was also found in a rented Mazda.
