Gabriel Luna has joined the cast of "Dexter: Resurrection" for its second season on Paramount+, taking on a guest role as a serial killer nicknamed The Sleepy-Eyed Stranger. His character, Ray Ballard, will come into conflict with Michael C. Hall's returning title character, continuing the show's tradition of pitting Dexter against a rotating cast of killers each season. The casting adds another high-profile name to a season already building out a strong ensemble.

Luna joins a growing roster of new additions, including Brian Cox as The New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, alongside Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson, while Uma Thurman and Kristen Ritter reprise their roles from the first season. Luna is known for recent parts in "The Last of Us," "FUBAR" and "Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy," and previously appeared in "Agents of SHIELD" and "Terminator: Dark Fate." The series remains under the stewardship of original creator Clyde Phillips as showrunner, with Hall also serving as an executive producer, produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.
