Diablo 4 reportedly comes to Switch 2 next month, but will be a $69.99 code-in-box release
Diablo 4 is reportedly set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 next month, according to a report picked up by GamesRadar+. The Switch 2 version will apparently be sold as a $69.99 boxed release containing a download code rather than the full game on the cartridge, a packaging approach increasingly used for large titles on Nintendo's handheld-console hybrid.
The report suggests Blizzard's action role-playing game is being brought to Switch 2 to take advantage of the console's improved hardware compared with the original Switch, which struggled to run demanding titles. Full details such as an exact release date, pre-order information and confirmation from Blizzard itself had not yet been officially announced at the time of the report.
