Diablo Cody is developing a new film, *Always, Roxanne*, with producer Mason Novick and Nathan Kahane’s True North banner. The story follows an obsessive high school senior who visits her ex-boyfriend’s college to win him back, then clashes with his new girlfriend and unexpectedly connects with someone who understands her. The project has no director attached yet.

The film reunites Cody and Novick, who have collaborated on more than ten projects, including *Juno*; they are also working on a sequel to *Jennifer’s Body*. Kahane previously worked with them on *Juno* and *Young Adult* at Mandate Pictures, and said he welcomed the reunion as younger audiences rediscover cinema-going. Cody won the Academy Award for *Juno*’s original screenplay, and her other credits include *Tully* and *Lisa Frankenstein*.
