Daisy Ridley's action-thriller "Cleaner", directed by Martin Campbell and released to poor box-office returns, is now streaming on HBO Max, giving the film a chance to find an audience it missed in cinemas. The move highlights Ridley's struggle to headline a hit since Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker, following the earlier critical and commercial failure of Chaos Walking, though she has an upcoming comeback vehicle in Ti West's Ebenezer alongside Johnny Depp.

Made on a reported $25 million budget, Cleaner stars Ridley as Joey, a former soldier turned window cleaner at a London high-rise who becomes an unlikely action hero after witnessing a terrorist plot while suspended on the building's facade.
