Set in the kingdom of Mirkea, players must use ancient powers to thwart the villain Sylbos, choosing from eight races and six classes to form one of 48 unique character archetypes, each with its own skill tree. Progression involves tactical combat, exploration, quest-solving, ally recruitment and resource gathering to craft potions and improve equipment, with relationships with allies playing a key role in success. Co-operative lobbies accommodate up to eight players, with character loadouts carrying across the shared game world.
