Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang took a call from President Donald Trump while on stage at the All-In Podcast's All-In Summit on Monday, putting him on speakerphone in front of a large audience. Trump used the moment to dismiss recent fears about artificial intelligence as a "hoax", telling the crowd that "the robots will not be taking over" — remarks that landed amid a particularly intense week of AI debate.

The call followed a widely discussed essay published over the weekend by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, "We Must Pace the Frontier", which argued for slowing AI development and increasing coordination between governments and drew broad agreement from other AI executives. Trump had already pushed back against the essay in Truth Social posts and repeated similar points during the on-stage call, also claiming without specifics that some communities had become "really wealthy" thanks to data centres. Huang did not challenge the president, instead saying the aim was to ensure "everybody wins in the AI race in America" and noting he was addressing "thousands" of attendees.
