Dinosaur Jr. Unveil New Single “Blowin’ Up”: Stream
The Massachusetts rock band Dinosaur Jr. has released 'Blowin' Up' as the second preview from their forthcoming 13th studio album. Written and sung by bandmate Lou Barlow, the track diverges sonically from the album's lead single whilst retaining the group's energetic approach, pairing catchy instrumental work with lyrics offering social and political observation.
Recorded over the course of a year with core members J Mascis and Murph, the album drops on August 28 via Jagjaguwar, marking the group's first new material since 2021. To promote the release, Dinosaur Jr. will embark on an autumn tour beginning in October, with several dates scheduled alongside Band of Horses.
