Dionne Warwick, Lynda Carter and jewellery designer Nicola "Coco" Verses will be honoured at the 2026 Angel Ball, the annual fundraising gala for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. The event, hosted by songwriter Denise Rich and her daughters, takes place on 19 October at Cipriani Wall Street in New York and is held in memory of Rich's daughter Gabrielle, who died aged 27 from acute myelogenous leukaemia.

The black-tie evening will be emceed by Deborah Cox, with a performance from Shaggy and appearances by Star Jones and Dr Stephen D. Nimer, among others. Warwick, 85, brings a career that includes 12 top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits, five Grammy Awards, the Kennedy Center Honors (2023) and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's award for musical excellence (2024). Since 1996 the foundation has awarded more than $47 million in research grants aimed at improving treatments and cures for leukaemia, lymphoma and related blood cancers.
