Disney has announced the fourth price increase in four years across its streaming services, effective immediately. Disney+ ad-free subscriptions will rise to $21.50 per month, a 13 per cent increase, whilst the Disney+ and Hulu combined ad-free bundle will cost $22 per month. Ad-supported versions are also increasing, with Disney+ with ads rising to $12.50 monthly, though the combined ad-supported bundle remains at $13 per month. This reflects ongoing industry "streamflation" as Disney attempts to boost revenue.

The pricing adjustment coincides with changes to Disney's content strategy. The company has cancelled several live-action productions, with Daredevil: Born Again's third season in 2027 announced as the final Marvel live-action series, whilst live-action Star Wars appears limited to Ahsoka's second season in January. Despite content reductions, the bundle options remain relatively competitive, with the ad-free pairing costing roughly half the price of separate subscriptions. Hulu continues to provide original programming and next-day access to content from major broadcasters including ABC and Fox.
