Disney+ Opens Supernatural Thriller Series ‘Night Tales Club’ In Japan; Watch The Teaser
Disney+ has released a teaser for its Japanese supernatural thriller series *Night Tales Club*, which is set to launch in January 2027. The six-part show centres on a businessman whose attempts to investigate unexplained phenomena draw people into a world of strange horrors.
Takayuki Yamada plays Hojo, who believes supernatural events are “bugs” in a hidden conspiracy. He invites people to share stories and evidence at his club, offering 20 million yen; each episode features a different mystery and director, with Kenji Nakajima directing Hojo’s scenes. The series adapts Ichi Sawamura’s horror stories, and its directors include Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Takashi Shimizu.
