Disney has promoted Cathleen Taff to president of its newly combined Entertainment–Studios and Consumer Products team, effective 4 October. The restructuring will bring most licensing and publishing operations into Disney Entertainment, aiming to align consumer products more closely with the company’s film and television content.

Taff will retain oversight of production services, franchise management, theatrical distribution, Disney Theatrical Group and Disney Music Group, while adding responsibility for consumer-products businesses. Former consumer-products president Lisa Baldzicki will become executive vice-president of global experience and innovation, while continuing to oversee Parks merchandise, Disney Store locations and DisneyStore.com within Disney Experiences.
