Disney has detailed its organisational restructuring with the promotion of Cathleen Taff to President, Disney Entertainment – Studios and Consumer Products, effective 4 October, whilst Lisa Baldzicki assumes an expanded role overseeing Disney Parks merchandise and retail operations. These appointments underscore the company's strategy to integrate global licensing and publishing more tightly with its creative studios whilst maintaining separate oversight of venue-specific retail and merchandise.

Taff, a 30-year Disney veteran, brings extensive experience in theatrical distribution, franchise management and studio operations across Disney's major labels including Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm. Her track record includes overseeing a record $11 billion in worldwide box office revenue in 2019 and seven billion-dollar film releases over the past three years, including Inside Out 2, Deadpool & Wolverine and Moana 2. Baldzicki, a global retail and merchandising executive with nearly three decades of industry experience, will oversee Disney's Parks merchandise business, Disney Store locations worldwide and DisneyStore.com, reporting to the Chairman of Disney Experiences.
