Disney true crime docuseries unveils story of Sheffield’s missing toddler in ‘Ben Needham: Lost in Paradise’
Disney+ will release a documentary episode, ‘Ben Needham: Lost in Paradise’, examining the disappearance of Sheffield toddler Ben Needham on the Greek island of Kos. It forms part of a new true-crime series revisiting major British investigations, bringing renewed attention to a case that has remained unresolved for decades.
Ben disappeared in 1991 aged 21 months while staying with family in Kos. The 40-minute episode is expected to cover his family’s search, allegations connected to child trafficking, suspected burial sites and an alleged prison confession; it launches on 30 July as one of six episodes in ‘20/20 Britain’s Most Notorious Crime Investigations’.
