Disney+’s 10/10 Fantasy Miniseries With Zero Bad Episodes Officially Takes Over Streaming

Collider ·

Disney+’s *Agatha All Along* has returned to the platform’s top ten most-watched shows globally, including in the United States, nearly two years after its release. The nine-episode fantasy comedy’s renewed popularity may be linked to *VisionQuest*, another *WandaVision* spin-off that has topped Disney+’s rankings since its premiere.

The series follows Agatha Harkness, who escapes a magical spell with a teenager’s help and forms a coven to face the legendary witches’ trials and regain her powers. It launched on 18 September 2024, earned an 84% critics’ score and an 82% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, and drew 9.3 million global views in its first seven days. No second season is planned at present, though Marvel streaming head Brad Winderbaum has said the company would consider one if the right idea emerged.

In short

  • *Agatha All Along* is back in Disney+’s global top ten.
  • It attracted 9.3 million views in its first week.
  • Marvel has no current plans for a second season.

Explained simply

Agatha All Along is a Disney+ fantasy comedy set in Marvel’s superhero universe. It centres on Agatha Harkness, a witch introduced in WandaVision, and follows her as she tries to regain her powers with help from a teenager and a group of witches.

The series is one of several stories spun off from WandaVision, which brought Marvel characters into a television format. Another spin-off, VisionQuest, has also drawn viewers to Disney+, and its popularity may be helping renew interest in Agatha All Along.

The show’s return to the most-watched rankings shows how older series can find a new audience on streaming services. Marvel has not announced a second season, though its streaming head has said the company would consider one if a suitable idea arose.
