Marvel Studios' *Avengers: Doomsday* is now just 150 days from its 18 December 2026 release, positioned as the culmination of a run of major superhero films this year. The build-up continues with *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, out on 31 July as the first MCU film of 2026, which is expected to draw a strong box-office debut and features a large ensemble cast, before attention turns fully to *Doomsday* as the year's biggest event picture.

*Brand New Day* is projected to take $180–190 million domestically over its opening weekend and could approach the billion-dollar mark, a feat last achieved by *Deadpool & Wolverine*. Its cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Marvin Jones III and Sadie Sink in an unconfirmed role. *Avengers: Doomsday*, meanwhile, will run 165 minutes, making it the second-longest MCU film after *Avengers: Endgame*, and a new trailer has recently offered a first look at its expansive cast.
