Django Django’s ‘Doveland’ Is Framed By Maturity
Django Django have released their new album, ‘Doveland’, in full. The band describe it as a more mature record, with open songwriting that explores grief and broadens their psych-pop sound.
Dave Mclean said it had taken him until the age of 46 for the band to make a “grown-up” record. Guests Max Pope and Hak Baker feature on the album, which the group say keeps their foundations while exploring new directions. They are playing a release show at Assai record store in Edinburgh, with a UK and European tour planned for February and March 2027.
