DMA’S Score First No. 1 on ARIA Chart
Australian alternative rock trio DMA’S have achieved their first No. 1 album on the ARIA Albums Chart with their self-titled fifth studio record. The result marks a career breakthrough after previous albums narrowly missed the top spot, and makes it only the second Australian album to lead the chart this year.
The album follows 2023’s How Many Dreams and 2020’s The Glow, both of which peaked at No. 2 in Australia. It is DMA’S first release under their new Wonderlick and Sony Music deal, and their first self-recorded album; the band have amassed more than 535 million streams and will tour Australia’s east coast in November and December.
