David Tennant and Billie Piper will return to cinemas as the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler in a one-night-only screening of a newly re-edited Doctor Who extended cut. The event will combine the 2006 episodes The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit into a movie-length presentation on 23 November 2026, giving fans a chance to revisit one of the era’s most acclaimed stories on the big screen.

The screening will take place in more than 1,000 cinemas across the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with tickets available from 25 September. BBC Studios says the cut will include restored deleted scenes and previously unseen extended footage, as well as an exclusive interview with director and producer James Strong; Gabriel Woolf will again voice the Beast.
