Doctor Who actor Noel Clarke has been charged with sexual offences against five women, following a police investigation that began in September 2025. The charges relate to alleged incidents spanning nearly a decade and come after Clarke previously lost a costly legal battle over media reporting of sexual misconduct allegations against him, underscoring the long-running and serious nature of the claims he faces.

Clarke, 50, of Kensington, west London, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, three of voyeurism and one of exposure, allegedly committed between 2007 and 2016. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 21 October. The charges follow his December bankruptcy, declared after he was ordered to pay at least £3 million in legal costs having lost a case against the Guardian's publisher over its reporting of misconduct allegations. Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney said the women involved are receiving support from specially trained officers and urged other potential victims to come forward.
