A feature documentary exploring the trial outcome of rapper Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder is in development at Sky Documentaries through production companies Propagate Content and Passion Pictures. Directed by Emmy-nominated and BAFTA-winning filmmaker Marian Mohamed, the project will air in 2027 across Sky Documentaries and the NOW streaming platform.

The film centres on Duane "Keffe D" Davis's first-degree murder conviction, marking a watershed moment in one of hip-hop's most prominent cold cases. After three decades of investigation marked by limited public breakthroughs, the Las Vegas trial finally provided resolution to a case that had remained largely mysterious since the shooting. The documentary will analyse the trial's proceedings and examine the significance of finally bringing closure to an investigation that had captured sustained public interest.
