CONTROL Resonant does include a New Game Plus mode at launch, allowing players to revisit the main story with their abilities intact and experience the game's narrative and details a second time. Remedy has confirmed the feature, though it currently only permits a single replay, and the developer plans to release "New Game Plus Plus" in October to enable unlimited playthroughs.

New Game Plus preserves most player progression, including abilities and rewards from certain side quests, though key items and traversal abilities acquired from faults are removed. The mode features increased enemy difficulty, particularly in later zones, but compensates players with a fourth Artifact Slot for enhanced build flexibility. The separate save slot allows players to return to their first playthrough's post-campaign progression at any time.
