The honours underscore the enduring international popularity of her back catalogue decades after many of the songs were first released, with fresh milestones for some of her best-known hits.

Among the standout achievements, "Jolene" has been certified Diamond in both Canada and the Netherlands, while "9 to 5" has reached Diamond status in Canada; both tracks have also picked up Multi-Platinum certifications in several other markets. "I Will Always Love You" and "Islands in the Stream" likewise gained new Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum awards, and numerous albums, including various Greatest Hits compilations, earned Gold, Silver or Platinum certifications across territories such as the UK, Netherlands, Sweden and South Africa. This latest haul builds on 47 certifications Parton received the last time such milestones were announced, several years earlier.
