Dolly Parton’s management says the singer’s planned business and creative projects will continue following her death at 80. The statement is intended to reassure fans that future releases and ventures issued through official channels were personally approved by Parton and form part of a long-term roadmap for her legacy.

Projects nearing launch include the SongTeller Hotel and Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville, opening on 14 and 29 September respectively, alongside Dolly Dolls and a coffee range. Her Broadway musical will begin previews on 7 December and officially open on 19 January, her 81st birthday; longer-term plans include jewellery, pet treats, homeware, an avatar show, documentaries, television series and a biopic. Parton died in Nashville on 25 August after a brief battle with cancer, while Dollywood said it would remain open in keeping with her wishes.
