Coy 'Denver' Parton, one of music legend Dolly Parton's twelve siblings, passed away at 82 on July 23. Unlike his globally famous sister, Denver lived a modest life working as a crane operator building bridges and as a homestead farmer with a passion for hunting. He remained largely out of the public eye throughout his life in rural Tennessee.

The death adds to a period of significant loss for the Parton family, which has faced multiple bereavements including three other siblings in recent years and Dolly's husband in early 2025.
