Fox News averaged 2.3 million viewers across primetime on Wednesday, below its September 2025 primetime average of 2.54 million, though viewership rose slightly to 2.5 million during Trump's own speech between 9pm and 11pm ET. CNN also saw a decline, averaging 441,000 viewers versus 543,000 a year earlier, while MS NOW (formerly MSNBC) bucked the trend with 1.1 million viewers, up from 810,000, despite largely skipping Trump's speech in favour of analysis from hosts including Jen Psaki and Lawrence O'Donnell.
