Doncaster Rovers captain Owen Bailey has agreed a new three-year contract with the League One club, tying him to the side amid growing interest in his form. The 27-year-old midfielder has become a key figure since arriving from Gateshead in June 2023, and his commitment provides stability for manager Grant McCann's squad heading into the new season.

Bailey has scored 20 goals in 138 league appearances for Doncaster and was named in the League One team of the year for 2025-26 after netting 16 goals in 55 games across all competitions.
