Ubisoft has no further Assassin’s Creed remakes in development now
Developing story first seen 1 hour ago
Ubisoft has confirmed it has no other Assassin’s Creed remakes actively in development, despite the success of Black Flag Resynced. The company is focusing on new games and stories, while leaving open the possibility of revisiting older titles later.
Ubisoft said making Black Flag Resynced involved rebuilding systems and balancing new features with the original game. Its final major update added New Game+ and a higher difficulty level, while Valhalla will get New Game+ on 5 November. Multiplayer project Codename Invictus is changing after playtest feedback, and Ubisoft plans a major update on Codename Hexe in 2027; production has nearly wrapped on Netflix’s live-action series.
