‘Drishyam’ Producer Panorama Studios Invests in Indian Vertical Streaming Platform Rocket Reels (EXCLUSIVE)
Panorama Studios, the Indian producer behind the “Drishyam” films, has invested in mobile-first vertical streaming platform Rocket Reels. The investment is intended to support more original programming, stronger technology and international expansion, reflecting growing interest in short-form, phone-oriented entertainment.
Founded by Kranti Shanbhag, Rocket Reels offers brief episodic stories across genres in six Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati. It is available in 10 countries, including the UK, US, Canada, Australia and the UAE; financial terms of Panorama’s investment were not disclosed.
