Druski channels fraudster Elizabeth Holmes in ‘You Can See Everything’ spoof for ‘SNL’ debut
Comedian Druski portrayed Elizabeth Holmes in a parody trailer during his “Saturday Night Live” debut, recreating scenes from a documentary about the convicted fraudster. The sketch drew on Holmes’ denials of wrongdoing and her public image, bringing renewed attention to the story behind Theranos.
Druski wore prosthetics, a blond wig and a beige sweater, while Jane Wickline played Holmes in the parody. The documentary, released on 16 October, was filmed in May 2023, shortly before Holmes began serving an 11-year sentence; she was convicted of wire fraud and defrauding investors in 2022 after Theranos’ blood-testing claims were challenged.
