‘Dune’ Star Chang Chen Introduces Six Rising Taiwanese Actors In Golden Horse & TCCF Showcase

Chang Chen introduced six rising Taiwanese actors at a showcase jointly organised by the Golden Horse Awards and Taiwan Creative Content Fest. The first collaboration between the events aims to increase the actors’ visibility as Taiwanese talent becomes more significant in international co-productions.

The group comprised Bai Xiao-ying, Ho Man-xi, Ma Shih-yuan, Lin Yi-ting, Rosen and Jimmy Liu. Bai and Ho are nominated for this year’s Golden Horse Best New Performer award; the other four were nominated last year, and Ma won. Chang advised the actors to adapt to different production teams and read autobiographies to understand other people’s lives. The Golden Horse Film Festival runs until 22 November, while TCCF runs until 9 November.
