A deleted Roll20 post appears to have revealed an official Dungeons & Dragons and World of Warcraft crossover before an expected announcement at Gen Con 2026. Neither Wizards of the Coast nor Blizzard has confirmed it, but the leak suggests pre-orders for a product titled “D&D World of Warcraft” are planned. If confirmed, it could be Warcraft’s first major tabletop role-playing release in more than 20 years and a significant expansion of D&D’s crossover strategy.

The post briefly included promotional artwork and was reported by EN World before being removed. Further details, including whether the project is a campaign setting, adventure or boxed set, remain unknown; D&D is due to hold a keynote on 30 July. Warcraft previously had unofficial D&D-derived role-playing games in 2003 and 2005, while recent D&D licensed products have included Stranger Things, Rick and Morty and Magic: The Gathering settings.
