Royal Mail will issue a special stamp collection celebrating Duran Duran, featuring artwork from eight of the British band's classic albums. The release marks a rare honour for a pop act still performing decades into its career, and comes as Duran Duran enjoys a late-career resurgence including major festival headline slots and a new collaboration with Nile Rodgers.

The collection, launching from 17 September, covers albums including the band's 1981 self-titled debut, Rio, Seven And The Ragged Tiger, Notorious, The Wedding Album and 2021's Future Past, alongside more than 30 collectibles such as posters, postcards and presentation packs. Prices range from 30p for a "First Day" envelope up to £86.40 for a full sheet of Wedding Album stamps, with Duran Duran joining a select list of acts, including AC/DC, The Who and Spice Girls, to receive their own Royal Mail issue.
