Dvizhon Studios Launches With Sex Education Series ‘The First Time’ A Featuring Puppet Presenter, Ukraine War Veteran & Social Media Star Tumazar
Ukrainian showrunner Yuri Dvizhon has launched Dvizhon Studios, a new London-based production house, debuting with a celebrity-led sex education series called The First Time. The five-part show has premiered on Eastern European streamer Megogo, blending entertainment with sex education content aimed at fostering open conversations about relationships and self-acceptance, and marks a notable example of Ukrainian creative production continuing despite the ongoing war.
The series features Ukrainian war veteran and amputee Oleksandr Teren, alongside social media star TUMAZAR as co-host, with a puppet character named Niko (created by studio Talk to the Hand and voiced by Anna Lev, the official Ukrainian voice of Bart Simpson) posing candid questions. Filmed at the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine over 36 months across London and Kyiv, the project was developed with the Olena Pinchuk Foundation and support from Aspinal of London, with Dvizhon noting production continued through blackouts and Russian missile and drone attacks.
