Dying 4, the indietronica solo project of Blue Bendy guitarist Joseph Nash, has released a new single called "Topaz" ahead of his debut EP. The track follows last month's single "Strafe" and continues to build anticipation for the project's first extended release, offering listeners another glimpse of Nash's sound outside his main band.

Nash has described "Topaz" as exploring the tension within friendships around mental health, capturing both the guilt of feeling you're not doing enough for a struggling friend and the isolation of needing support yourself. The song, described as sprawling and twitchy, arrives with an accompanying music video said to have a hypnotic quality when paired with the music. Dying 4's debut EP, Perish Songs, is set for release on 4th September via Practise Music.
