DYVR Steps Up With Debut Album ‘Rebuild’
London-based artist DYVR has released her debut album, ‘Rebuild’, a dancefloor-oriented and introspective record centred on storytelling, self-reflection and resilience. The release marks a significant step in her career, presenting emotionally charged bass-driven production and pop-inflected vocals while drawing on her experiences of transition and personal change.
The album took more than three years to complete and explores grief, defiance, anger, love and resolution, with DYVR describing these themes as shared stories for queer and trans people. Its focus track, ‘Cry Baby’, combines nostalgic elements with forward-moving melodies; DYVR has also built her profile through live performances during Trans Pride and by promoting queer voices and diverse line-ups.
